MayFest Wine Festival

Join us in Mifflinburg on May 18 for our MayFest celebrating our German heritage with a Maypole and a day full of entertainment. A highlight will be a wine festival with (as of this writing) eight confirmed wineries including Shade Mountain , Bastress Mountain , Red Shale, Armstrong, Seven Mountains, Naylor, Sandcastle and West Hanover wineries. This is a ticketed event and you must be 21 years old to purchase a ticket. Advance purchase tickets are $10 and tickets at the gate will be $15. All paid attendees will receive a wine glass for sampling in addition to their admission wristband. Identification will be required at the gate.Additionally, there will be Plein Air artists with a show and sale, craft vendors, food vendors, music and entertainment throughout the day. The Elias Center for the Performing Arts will be celebrating its grand opening with tours, an exhibit on the history of the Elias Church and a special family entertainment event in the afternoon (TBA). Hours are from 10 to 6 for the festival and the wine tasting festival will be from 11 am to 5 pm. No pets, please, except for service animals. Event held rain or shine.
