The Elias Center for the Performing Arts is available for tours, weddings and rentals for showers, baptisms, meetings, performances and other gatherings. Tours can be scheduled for private tours, small groups and bus tours.
Wedding rental rate is $350 and includes rehearsal time plus the wedding day (including time for decorating, flower delivery, musician set up) and 2 hours after the wedding for photographs.
Other rentals are $30 per hour or $200 for a 10 hour day. Please call or email for more information.
The Elias is ADA accessible.
This year the Elias will be hosting a summer theater camp for children the week of July 18 through July 22. Bright Star Theater Company will be sending two actor/educators and will teach the children everything from character development to script writing to directing, acting, production and design. On the final day, July 22, at 3 pm the children will put on a public performance to show off their new skills! Hours are 9 am to 3 pm and children need to bring their own lunches. Cost is $100 for the week and registration is limited to 30 children. This camp is best suited for approximately grades two through six. August 20: Rock and Roll Pet Store brings live music, magic, puppets and animals to the Elias. Show begins at 1 pm. Tickets re $10 for adults and children 12 and over. Children under 12 years of age are free with paid adult.
September 17: Mark Twain Remembers brings Mark Twin to town to offer his reflections on life. Show begins at 7 pm. Tickets are $10 at the door.
November 12: Traveling Lantern national children’s touring company brings Ben Franklin to life in an interactive, audience participation as “The Industrious Mr. Franklin” talks about his inventions and other facts of life from his time. Tickets are $10 and children under 12 are free with paid adult.
December 17: Holiday show with Kj Reimensnyder-Wagner and gang doing an old fashioned Christmas show — Christmas in the Parlor. Tickets are $10 and half of the proceeds will go to the Mifflinburg Kiwanis to help with their holiday food boxes for those in need in our community.
