May 18 &19, 2012 marked the first MayFest days for Mifflinburg and there were plenty of festivities to go around.

Along with store specials in the downtown, there was a live radio remote from Wheels 106.1 and music from:

• Vamp ’til Ready,
• KJ Reimensnyder-Wagner,
• Chicken Tractor, and
• Larry Mitchell.

Throughout the entire area on Saturday, there was a magician, a Bully-Guard demonstration from Gemberling’s Tae Kwon Do, a maypole, caricature artist, face painting and book sale at the library.

We also had food vendors, demonstrations and plenty more.

The weather was spectacular and an estimated more than 500 people meandered around town on Saturday.
