Winterfest at the Elias Center
Updated: Jan 24, 2019

Last weekend during Christkindl Market hours, the Mifflinburg Heritage & Revitalization Association’s (MHRA) welcomed all to their annual Winterfest Open House at the Elias Center for the Performing Arts.
They served a variety of hot toddies, coffee, cocoa and hot buttered rum and gave guests an opportunity to sit down and get out of the damp weather - to relax and enjoy some fun music and take time to visit a variety of some of Mifflinburg’s ‘Made in Mifflinburg’ local businesses that were set up in the Elias. They included Summer Kitchen Spice Company, Boof Biscuits, Keystone Oilseed Co., Alex Haines’s Wreaths, Punako Artisan Bread, Abe’s Woodworking, Heritage Printing & Design w/artists Valerie Moyer and Jane Albin and Hosterman Photography. Smokin’ Bob’s Barbecue was in the parking lot as well, serving up hot food.
There was live entertainment Friday and Saturday including Carl Catherman, MusicCraft and Vamp ‘til Ready.
As always, it was a fun time and proceeds from the sale of hot toddies will go toward the upkeep and restoration of the Elias – in particular, the first floor replacement project happening very soon.
