Critters visit Elias
The Elias Center for the Performing Arts welcomed Critters and Conservation, last Saturday afternoon. More than just a traveling zoo, this fun show covered animal behavior, basic

biology, animal adaptations, and much more, helping young people grow up to respect animals and their roles in the ecosystem. The Center had a full house of children and adults, who all enjoyed petting, holding and even feeding the animals. The traveling zoo brought two sugar gliders, a hedgehog, a horned frog, hissing cockroaches, a toucan, two rainbow lorikeets, and a vinegaroon.
The Elias Center’s next program is June 15. An interactive children’s program featuring music and fun called “Listen, Learn & Play” will visit the historic 1806 building. Admission to Elias programming is $10 - children 12 and under FREE with paid adult!
